My two-night stay at Laggan was marked by spacious and well-furnished accommodations featuring modern bathrooms. The charm of the country decor added to the ambiance. The dining experience was exceptional, with a delicious three-course meal and a satisfying breakfast served in a delightful dining room. The attentiveness of the staff greatly enhanced the overall experience, making our stay truly memorable.

While the dinner menu offered three options per course, it lacked the variety seen in previous visits, and the overcooked vegetables were a letdown. while the room was spacious, some areas in the bathroom could have benefited from shelves for toiletries, leading to minor inconveniences. I also noticed some noise from the hallways at night, which detracted somewhat from the quiet atmosphere.

I almost wrote a good review, but the food was a huge letdown—3 starters, mains, and desserts is not impressive. Plus, the shower pressure was dismal, making it impossible to enjoy a proper rinse. I expected some complimentary snacks or a room upgrade to make up for it, but no such luck. Definitely not staying again.

laggan is in a beautiful, tranquil location, perfect for a stop off while heading north. the kitchen went out of their way to prepare us a fantastic three-course dinner after dinner service ended. the well-stocked bar and cozy seating areas made the atmosphere even better.
